PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide remote monitoring equipment with which the number of heartbeats of a veterinary patient is measured for a long term and the state of the animal is remotely monitored by a veterinarian, etc., in a remote place. SOLUTION: The equipment is constitute of a sensor unit 10 and a monitor unit 20. The sensor unit 10 stored in a waterproof case 30 attached to the collar 32 of an animal such as a dog or a cat is constituted of a photoelectric pulse wave sensor part 17, and A/D converting part 18, a CPU 11, a ROM 12, a RAM 13, a radio transmitting part 14 and a battery 15. The power source switch 16 of the unit 10 is constituted of a reed switch and operated without contact by a permanent magnet 16a from the outer part of the case 30. The monitor unit 20 is constituted of a CPU 21, a ROM 22, a RAM 23, a radio receiving part 24, a power source 25, a setting part 26, a display part 27 for displaying the number of heartbeats and an alarm part 28 for issuing alarm when the number of heartbeats exceeds an alarm setting value. |
