POLYESTER FILM LAMINATED METAL PANEL AND METAL CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container excellent in impact resistance and having good impact resistance especially even after treatment such as baking coating or the like and a laminated metal panel used therein. SOLUTION: A polyester film used for laminating a metal panel is an amorphous on-oriented polyester film containing a polyethylene terephthalate copolymer which has a group originating from naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and the components forming this film satisfy such a condition that (1) 3-12 mol% of a dicarboxylic acid component is naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, (2) 75-97 mol% of the dicarboxylic acid component is terephthalic acid and (3) 75 mol% or more of a diol component is ethylene glycol and the melting point of the film is 200-250 deg.C. A laminated metal panel is constituted by laminating the polyester film on at least the single surface of the metal panel and a metal container is formed using this laminated metal panel.
