PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trustworthy device to control board's thickness, which can roll metal stably and make rolled metal highly precise thickness. SOLUTION: A Mill constant's error rate calculating device 12 which estimates an error rate of Mill constant at a lower stand by an error between actual load measured by load detectors 11A-11C fixed at an upper stand and targeting load is equipped. A calculating gap amendment device 13 which calculates a gap amendment to prevent board thickness error from occurring at a lower stand by an error between an actual board thickness measured at a intermediate stand's board thickness measure 10 and a targeting board thickness and a Mill constant written above is also equipped. And a calculating speed amendment device 14 which calculates speed amendment to keep a balance in massflow by the gap amendment above is equipped.
