PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum panel for a cosmetics container high in corrosion resistance even if molded into a container having a high total squeezing ratio by squeeze processing and capable of being produced with high productivity and a molded article thereof. SOLUTION: A resin coated aluminum panel for a cosmetics container is obtained by forming an intermediate layer 3 on the surface of an aluminum layer 2 comprising aluminum or an aluminum alloy and further forming a polyester resin layer 4 comprising a polyester resin, which is obtained by condensing polyhydric alcohol containing 70-99 mass% of ethylene glycol and polyvalent carboxylic acid containing 70-99 mass% of terephthalic acid, on the intermediate layer. A backing layer 5 is formed on the rear surface of the aluminum panel 1.
