摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF coil device reducing noise in an imaging volume of an MR imaging system having a gradient coil assembly disposed inside an inner cavity of a main magnet. SOLUTION: This RF coil device 20 has a tubular RF coil bobbin 34, an RF coil 30 installed to the bobbin 34, and an installation structure extending between the bobbin 34 and the gradient coil assembly 18. The installation structure supports the RF coil 30 and the RF coil bobbin 34 apart from the gradient coil assembly 18. The RF coil device 20 has an inner tubular element 22 selectively configured so as to prevents transmission of an acoustic signal from the RF coil 30 to the imaging volume. The inner tubular element 22 is fixably supported inside the inner cavity of the main magnet 10 at prescribed intervals from the RF coil 30 and the RF coil bobbin 34. Thereby, the internal tubular element 22 substantially surrounds a specific portion of the inner cavity having the imaging volume of the MR system.
