PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air mattress which causes no problem when in use and provides comfortableness and is excellently designed so that no wrinkles may be produced and any end part may not be destroyed to give a good outer appearance. SOLUTION: The air mattress is made by sealing a synthetic resin foaming material having open cells with a skin material formed from an airtight synthetic resin sheet and then forming air conditioning holes. The skin material is formed from at least two airtight synthetic resin sheets, at least one of which is formed into a desired shape. The synthetic resin sheets are bonded to each other to form the skin material for sealing the synthetic resin foaming material.
