PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a first hydraulic system or a second hydraulic system in a brake fluid pressure control device comprising a first hydraulic system controllably feeding the fluid pressure of the working fluid output from a pump device to a brake cylinder and a second hydraulic system feeding a fluid pressure provided by the brake operating force multiplied by a hydraulic booster. SOLUTION: In normal braking, a brake fluid pressure is controlled by a first hydraulic system. However, when a vehicle stops and an ignition switch is switched to ON, a brake is operated by a second hydraulic system (S3, 4). When a hydraulic pressure control is performed by the first hydraulic system and an abnormality is detected on a master pressure sensor, a fluid pressure control is performed continuously based on the fluid pressure detected by a booster pressure sensor (S5). Thus, the first hydraulic system or second hydraulic system can be used effectively.
