PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing device for quick and fine dressing on the peripheral face of a grinding wheel and a lens grinding device using the same. SOLUTION: This dressing device for dressing a rotatable groove grinding wheel 19 with a dressing grinding stone comprises a spindle 101 a (203) for rotating the dressing grinding wheel 102 (205) at almost the same rotating speed as that of the grinding wheel 19 (205). The lens grinding device is equipped with this dressing device.
