PURPOSE: A method for inserting an advertisement to an electronic mail is provided to increase the effect of an advertisement by selecting product information in a database before a mail made out by a mail client is sent out, and by adding the information to the mail to be sent out. CONSTITUTION: A mail server receives a mail transmitted from a mail client inside of a mail sender computer(201). The mail server gets product advertisement information from a product advertisement database composed of contents of a product advertisement before the mail is sent out(202). The mail server adds the product advertisement information to the mail(203). The mail server sends out the mail to the designated address of the mail(204).
