<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device capable of improving damping force against vibration energy between two structures while achieving size reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The damping device includes: a fixed cylinder 2 fixed to a first structure, which is formed into a cylindrical shape having a hollow part; a shaft member 3 fixed to a second structure, which is stored in the hollow part of the fixed cylinder and helical screw grooves are formed on the outer circumference; a nut member 4 screwed with the shaft member, which converts an axial movement of the shaft member into a rotational movement; a rotor member 6 cylindrically formed for covering the fixed cylinder, which forms a cylindrical housing chamber 8 between the outer circumference of the fixed cylinder and the rotor member, to which rotation is given by the nut member; and a viscous fluid 7 sealed in the housing chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
