PURPOSE: An extrinsic information guidance service method in serving a telephone number is provided to construct a database by editing and processing desired extrinsic information transferred from subscribers and to offer the edited/processed contents to subscribers with telephone number service. CONSTITUTION: If subscribers provide their own extrinsic information to a telephone number information center(301), the telephone number information center edits and processes extrinsic information through an information/edit/search terminal(302), and stores it in an information database(303). If a user who wants extrinsic information refers to the telephone number information center for desired extrinsic information with a telephone number(304), a telephone operator or the information/edit/search terminal searches the information database for the telephone number and desired extrinsic information(305) and informs the user of the searched telephone number with desired extrinsic information(306).
