PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system to control the operation of an elevator in accordance with the size of the current flowing through electric facility in a building or control the operation of the elevator using information apparatus used in the building. SOLUTION: The elevator system includes an elevator control device 300 supplied with electric power from a power supply 10 and controlling the operation of elevator, with which judgement is made whether or not the specified allowable value is exceeded upward by the sum of the current inflowing to the elevator control device 300 from the power supply 10 and the current inflowing to electric apparatuses 24 and 25 other than the device 300, and if the sum amperage is over the allowable value, a current limiting command means 100 output a command to limit the current inflowing to the device 300, and also an operation changing means 111 outputs a command to change the operation of the elevator in conformity to the current limiting command. |
