<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, capable of preventing waste of recording paper and damaging a device due to double feed. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming system 101 is provided with double feed detecting parts 15 and 25 to detect double feed of recording paper, and a first passage changing part 26a and a second passage changing part 26b to change carrying passages depending if double feed is detected or not. In the image forming system 101, the carrying passage without including a post-process is taken at the time of double feed.
