METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CHARGE VOLTAGE IN IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a charge voltage is provided to prevent degradation of the quality of image due to variations in the potential between a contact period and a non-contact period of a printed paper and a photosensitive drum by separately controlling a change voltage applied to the photosensitive drum into the contact period and the non-contact period. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a charge voltage confirms whether it is a non-developing period or not(S304) if a printing work is performed in an image formation apparatus(S303). If it is the non-developing period, the level of the charge voltage is elevated(S305) in order to compensate for variations in the potential in the non-developing period(S307). It is then determined that the non-developing period is elapsed or not(S306). If the non-developing period is elapsed, the charge voltage is restored(S307).
