PURPOSE: A method for preparing tabasheer(juice from heated green bamboo) is provided, to mass-produce the bamboo sap effective for cold, cough, paralysis, tussis, asthma, convulsions and blood circulation. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps of: (i) sorting out two-thirds (from bottom) of 3-5 year old bamboo and cutting the sorted bamboo into fine pieces; (ii) putting the bamboo pieces into a cauldron and turning up the cauldron on a bamboo sap container; (iii) applying yellow soil on the cauldron and stacking up rice hulls around the cauldron; (iv) heating the cauldron at the same burning temperature as that of the rice hulls for 3days and removing the yellow soil layer from the cauldron for collecting the burnt black sap; and then (v) filtrating the resulting sap several times for removing impurities and stabilizing the cleared sap before packing the cleared sap or mixing it with various kinds of drinks. |
