PURPOSE: An instantaneous provisional control trip device of a circuit breaker is provided to be capable of controlling minimum or maximum magnifying factors by a user when an instantaneous breaking current value is set. CONSTITUTION: A stopper(15a) is formed integral with a dial mounter(15). A setting dial(16) is coupled to the dial mounter(15) so that the position of the dial(16) can be varied, and a stopping protrusion(16b) is formed integral with the setting dial(16). A control dial(14) is supported by the dial mounter(15) through the setting dial(16), and comprises a stopping protrusion(14a) so that its rotation is stopped when it is engaged with the stopping protrusion(16b) of the setting dial(16) and the stopper(15a) of the dial mounter(15).
