摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing a modified-polyethylene, for thermal spray, having adhesive property and low viscous property by grafting polyethylene with maleic anhydride. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the modified-polyethylene comprises the steps of: dissolving 100pts.wt. of the polyethylene such as low density polyethylene(LDPE), high density polyethylene(HDPE), and linear low density polyethylene(LLDPE), 0.1-2phr of the maleic anhydride, 0.01-0.3phr of an initiator such as benzoylperoxide, and 0.05-1phr of dimethylformamide in an organic solvent such as acetone; melting and mixing the mixture at a temperature of 100-140deg.C to graft the maleic acid on the polyethylene.
