PURPOSE: A screw cap for protecting a cable is provided to protect a cable and to effectively couple thin plates from the interference between a screw and the cable, when coupling the plates using a screw. CONSTITUTION: When coupling two plates(21,22) with a screw(20), a lower part of the screw(20) is projected to a lower part, to generate interference with a cable(23). Fixing parts(12) of a screw cap(10) are inserted in holes(24,25) of the plates(21,22), to prevent the separation by a hooking end(16). The screw(20) is inserted into a socket part(11), to prevent direct contact with the cable(23).
