PURPOSE: A mask damping device of a flat braun tube is provided to be capable of sustaining the coupling status between parts themselves forming a damper assembly by improving the structure of the damper assembly, thereby maintaining an initial alignment status till welding points. CONSTITUTION: Both side plates(34) integrally formed with both ends of an upper plate(32) of a bracket(30) are formed to be inclined toward their inner sides from their top ends to bottom ends. Both side plates(44) integrally formed with both ends of an upper plate(42) of a plate(40) are formed to be inclined toward their inner sides from their top ends to bottom ends to be tightly attached to outer sides of the side plates(34). Therefore, the bracket(30) and the plate(40) can be coupled by the tight coupling between both side plates(34,44).
