CIRCUIT FOR CONVERTING FREQUENCY/VOLTAGE USING HIGH BAND PASS FILTER

PURPOSE: A circuit for converting frequency/voltage using a high band pass filter is provided to get rid of ripple element using the characteristic of the filter and to speed up the response time. CONSTITUTION: In the circuit for converting frequency/voltage, an impulse generating circuit(20) detects the rising or falling edges of a signal having a particular frequency and generates an impulse signal from the rising or falling edge. An inverter(22) inverts the phase of the impulse signal from the impulse generating circuit(20). A high band pass filter(24) detects the high frequency signal element from the inverted signal. A smoothing circuit(26) smooths the output signal of the high band pass filter(24) and produces a converted frequency/voltage signal.
