PURPOSE: A method for synchronizing a network in an IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000) is provided to enable the synchronization between a base station controller and a base station to be coincident, using time information in a point of time when transmitting present time information. CONSTITUTION: A time request signal from a base station is transmitted to a base station controller. When the time request signal is received to the base station controller, the first time of a counter of the base station controller is transmitted to the base station. The second time of a counter of the base station, in a point of time when transmitting the first time, is transmitted together with the first time. The third time by the counter of the base station, in a point of time when the first time and second time are received, is detected. A transmission delay time, until the first time and the second time are received to the base station, is detected. The second time of the base station controller and the transmission delay time are added, to detect the fourth time. And a difference between the third time and the fourth time is detected, to correct the time of the base station. |
