METHOD FOR MANAGING CONTROL MESSAGE FOR EXPANDING SUBSCRIBER BOARD OF DSLAM SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing a control message for expanding a subscriber board of a DSLAM(Digital Subsystem Line Access Multiplexer) system is provided to remove an unnecessary operation and efficiently manage an entire subscriber line by efficiently applying a progress direction and a processing method of the control message between the subscriber board and a main control board of an expanding shelf. CONSTITUTION: An expanding control board(200) informs a self-error state and its mounted subscriber board(300) to a main control board(100). The main control board(100) receives information and responds to the expanding control board(200). The subscriber board(300) transmits a self-state message to the expanding control board(200). The expanding control board(200) adds a transmitting region board identifier to the state message and transmits the state message to the main control board(100). The main control board(100) stores the transmitted state message and transmits a control board identifier setting message to the expanding control board(200). The expanding control board(200) receives the control board identifier setting message and transmits a message, to which an expanding control board identifier value is added, to the subscriber board(300). The subscriber board(300) receives the message and transmits a response to the expanding control board(200) and the main control board(100).
