PURPOSE: A power saving circuit of a video display equipment is provided to selectively supply two mutually different power, using one power supply line, so as to minimize power consumption in a power saving mode. CONSTITUTION: A power source(10) generates main power voltages(Vb,Vc,Vd) and an auxiliary power voltage(Va). If a detection signal is inputted, the power source(10) outputs the auxiliary power voltage(Va) while outputting the main power voltages(Vb,Vc,Vd) in a normal mode. A controller(20) is operated by the predetermined main power voltage(Vb) in a normal mode, and is operated by the auxiliary power voltage(Va) in a power saving mode, to control each unit of a system. And the controller(20) decides a mode by a synchronizing signal inputted from the external, to output a power saving signal(SUS) in a power saving mode. The first switching unit(30) is switched-on in a normal mode, to supply the main power voltages(Vb,Vc,Vd) to each unit in the power source(10). And the first switching unit(30) is switched-off by the power saving signal(SUS) in a power saving mode, to cut off the main power voltages(Vb,Vc,Vd) supplied to each unit in the power source(10). And a detection unit(40) detects the switch-off of the first switching unit(30), to output a detection signal of power saving mode to the power source(10).
