PURPOSE: An intake noise damping resonator is provided to serve as two resonator with a single body part defined into upper and lower parts of different inner volumes and easy to add any additional resonator for different frequencies, thereby simplifying the structure with small installation space and improving the lay-out of an engine room. CONSTITUTION: An intake noise damping resonator includes an upper body(2) formed with a neck part length(LP1), a neck part sectional area(SP1) and an inner volume(V1) and communicated with an intake system(1), a lower body(3) connected to the upper body for forming a single case element and having an inner volume(V2), an intermediate defining plate(4) welded between the upper and lower bodies for defining the upper and lower bodies respectively to have the own inner volumes, and a communication tube(6) penetrating the intermediate defining plate to fix the upper and lower body in communication with each other and having a neck part length(LP2), and a sectional area(SP2).
