PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system which door not give a user sense of discomfort at an operating time during sleeping, when an indoor temper ature is suitably lowered or the like. SOLUTION: This air-conditioning system comprises a ceiling fan 2 for supplying air near a ceiling 42 in a room toward a floor 43, an air conditioner 1 is operable cooperatively with the fan 2 and diffusing heat exchanged air and an operating mode switching means for switching the conditioner 1 to a sleeping operation mode. The system further comprises a comparing means for comparing indoor temperature with a set temperature, and a ceiling fan air volume control means for controlling the air volume of the fan 2, in response to the compared value from the comparing means at the sleeping operating mode time.
