PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player provided with the driving mechanism of a tray, on which the operation of the tray is precisely performed. SOLUTION: The driving mechanism driving the tray 8 carrying a disk 5 is provided with a gear to be driven 29, a driving gear 35 driven by a motor 37, a cam groove 29f including a straight part and an inclination part and a pin 40a which slidably touches the cam groove. The gear to be driven and the driving gear are set in an engaged state with the operation of the cam groove and the pin. Then, the tray is protruded from a player housing with the operation of the gear to be driven and the driving gear.
