APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CORRECTION OF DATABASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a database regarding a road which is always registered and to make the shape of a road on a map agree with the shape of an actual road. SOLUTION: A present-position detection means is provided. A data recording part 16 in which node data provided with a mode point and with a link angle expressing the bend degree of a link used to connect respective node points is recorded is provided. A running-road-data output and processing means 91 which outputs running road data regarding a road on which a vehicle is run is provided. A running-track-data calculation and processing means 92 which calculates running track data expressing a track on which the vehicle is run is provided. A running-track-data correction and processing means 94 which corrects the running track data on the basis of the link angle is provided. A correction-data creation and processing means 96 which creates correction data on the basis of the running road data and on the basis of the corrected running track data is provided.
