WASTE HEAT ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low temperature refrigeration medium at low running cost and initial cost. SOLUTION: A single effect absorption refrigerating machine is operated using waste heat from the low temperature waste heat source of a gas engine 1 as a heat source. On the other hand, a part of ammonia-aqueous solution fed from a regenerator 8 to an absorber 12 is taken out and steam is generated by waste gas from a high temperature waste heat source. A steam turbine 21 is driven with that steam and a compressor 27 interlocked with the steam turbine 21 is driven. The compressor 27 sucks steam in an evaporator 14 to lower the pressure in the evaporator 14 below the pressure in the absorber 12. As evaporation progresses in the evaporator 14, a low temperature refrigeration medium is taken out through a pipe 34 for taking out refrigeration medium.
