PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice reaction type machine having a communication means satisfactory for both the machine and a human being in a communication space, where the machine and the human being coexist, concerning the voice reaction type machine, for which a signal transmitting system with a sonic wave as a carrier wave is utilized. SOLUTION: This machine has a transmitter provided with a signal synthesizing means for electrically synthesizing an audible signal 1 and another signal 2 and a means for outputting the electric synthetic signal generated by this signal synthesizing means to the outside world as an acoustic signal and a receiver provided with a converting means for receiving the acoustic signal outputted from this transmitter and converting it to an electric synthetic signal and a signal extracting means for extracting the signal 2 from the electric synthetic signal provided by this converting means, and is provided with a means for converting the signal 2 extracted from the received electric synthetic signal to an operation instructing means to be applied to the machine and a means for performing predetermined mechanical operation corresponding to the operating signal.
