PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which rapidly completes curing reaction with small energy in a manufacturing stage for imparting a film (protective layer) of a UV curing resin to the light incident surface or recording layer surface of an optical recording medium. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the optical recording medium consists in forming the protective layer on the light incident surface of the optical recording medium by curing the resin with UV rays while passing inert gas of >=98% in density at a specified relative velocity, more preferably a relative velocity of >=25 mm/sec to the objective surface of the optical recording medium to be manufactured. |
