PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which allows detecting plural objects to be detected by one detecting means and specifying that a detection signal outputted from the detecting means is the detection signal obtained by detecting what objective to be detected, by using the detecting means having a simple and economical constitution. SOLUTION: A revolving developing device 420 is rotated in a prescribed direction and it is recognized that a black developing device 40K which is made to be a standard reaches the detecting part of a toner end sensor 500 in the state that a developing device position detecting plate 510 is detected by a toner end sensor 500. The rotational positions of other respective developing devices can be specified, thereby, on the basis of the rotational position of the black developing device 40K. When the revolving developing device 420 is further rotated and a toner cartridge detecting plate 520 is detected by the toner end sensor 500, it can be recognized that the prescribed cartridge 46K (46Y, 46M, 46C) is not inserted and set into the relevant toner cartridge guide 51K (51Y, 51M, 51C). |
