PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection system capable of detecting the abnormality of a cartridge and an image forming device and preventing the drastic breakage caused by such a failure that the abnormal cartridge and the abnormal image forming device are put in use, and also, to provide a remaining developer amount display system capable of always accurately and timely informing a user of the remaining developer amount level in a developer container. SOLUTION: In the case the comparison result by a comparing means 46 for comparing the remaining developer amount defined by a statistical method with the remaining developer amount stored by a storing means exceeds a prescribed amount, it is judged by the abnormality detection system that the image forming device and/or the cartridge are abnormal, then, the judgment of the abnormality is outputted to an information display part 33 installed in the device and/or equipment 41 with a display capable of communicating with the device. |
