<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the control device of a transformerless reactive power series compensator, where current control and voltage control are mutually independent. SOLUTION: A current control loop and a voltage control loop are provided to output modulation indexes mq' and md' to control line current (i) and a DC capacitor voltage uDC of a DC capacitor CDC of a compensator 3 to required reference values idref and uDCref, respectively. The control device includes a noninterference control means 25, so that the line current (i) is independent of the output of a DC controller 16, and the capacitor voltage uDC is independent of the output of a current controller 20. Modulation signal generating means 13 and 14 generate a modulation signal (m) in the form of m=mqcos(wt)-mdsin(wt), and is supplied to a transformerless reactive power series compensator 3, that is inserted in series with transmission lines 2a and 2b.</p> |
