PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for controlling a battery for self power generation type electric vehicle which can avoid overdischarge at a part of battery with higher accuracy. SOLUTION: A remaining capacity obtained from an accumulated charging/ discharging current of battery pack or the amount related to such a remaining capacity, for example, SOC is obtained (607), and the charge/discharge control is executed, based on this obtained value. Moreover, a normal minimum voltage value VP for the reference discharge, which is the discharge voltage, when discharge is executed at a prescribed reference current value or a reference power value is set and limitation is made in the area, where the discharge voltage in the reference discharge as the discharge in this reference current value or reference power value becomes the minimum voltage value or lower and moreover, when the discharge voltage is reduced to VO which is lower than the VP, discharge is stopped (110). VO is for example, the voltage where a dischargeable output Wout at the voltage VP, for example, becomes 0. Thereby, deepdischarge can be conducted while avoiding the overdischarge. |
