RETAINER FOR MULTIPOLE CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain particularly a small-sized and less bulky retainer for a multipole connector so that a connecting electrical wire may be pulled out in the required direction. SOLUTION: In the retainer for the multipole connector 1, the connecting electrical wire in the housing 2 of the multipole connector 5 housing a contact 4 retaining a connecting wire 3 is inserted in a rear end side for pulling out the connecting electrical wire to inhibit the removal of the contact from the housing. Integral formation is applied to a locking projection 22 placed at the opening 25 at the rear end side of a contact-housing part 10 formed in the housing and serving as a contact locking part for locking the electrical wire holding part 6 of the contact and an electrical wire-accepting part 20 mounted at a given spaced interval and matching the contact-housing part and used for individually controlling the pull out direction of the connecting electrical wire extended from the contact-housing part.
