PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor that can suppress twisting in a circumferential direction being generated in a coil spring for elastically supporting an anti-vibration body, and a refrigerating machine that is equipped with the compressor. SOLUTION: A compressor 11 has a balance weight 31 that is supported in an axial direction coaxially with a compression piston 22 while the balance weight can be freely reciprocated. The balance weight 31 is mounted to a top 21a and a base plate 21b of a compressor body 21 by a coil spring 32 and a bearing 33. The coil spring 32 is supported rotatably in a peripheral direction for the compressor body 21 and the balance weight 31 by the bearing 33.
