PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for mobile wireless unit, that has a rod antenna telescopically extended/retracted in multi-stages and containable in its case that has an ensured mechanical strength in its extracted state, and has sufficient flexibility and can prevent the electrical performance from being changed with vibration, when the rod antenna is extracted. SOLUTION: This antenna for mobile wireless unit consists of a 1st rod section 10 that is formed by coating an insulator to a 1st conductor rod 11 made of an elastic body whose end is provided with a locking purpose connection conductor 14 and of a 2nd rod section 20, that contains the 1st rod section 10 in its inside. The 2nd rod section 20 is provided with a support conductor 22, that is placed at the tip of the 2nd rod section 20 and supports the connection conductor to ensure the continuity with the 1st conductor 11, a 2nd conductor rod 21 made of an elastic body, whose tip is connected to the support conductor 22, and a cylindrical insulator 23 that encloses the 2nd conductor 21 and contains the 1st rod section 10.
