PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing device that has fixed discharge pressure, even when the amount of adhesive in the syringe of the dispensing device is changed, and to provide the stable amount of discharge. SOLUTION: A metallic object to be detected built in a pivot block in a syringe is detected by a detector outside the syringe, the amount of adhesive in the syringe is estimated, the estimated value is inputted into a discharge pressure control circuit, and the discharge pressure is controlled, so that the discharge pressure is maintained properly. Also, as a second embodiment, related values such as the specific gravity of the adhesive and the diameter of a dispensing nozzle are inputted from a keyboard other than the discharge pressure which is set to an initial setting value and time, and the amount of adhesive in the syringe is calculated automatically, by an information data processor with the data from a device for counting the number of shots for outputting to the discharge pressure control circuit.
