PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automating all or one portion of work related to concrete constituent analysis in a liquid to be examined and subclassifying leukocyte automatically and accurately using image processing and recognition techniques for a specimen where the leukocyte has appeared in the liquid to be examined. SOLUTION: The leukocyte subclassification device is provided with an image pickup stage for picking up the image of liquid to be examined on a light transmissible plate, a means for enlarging a sample image included in the liquid to be examined, a means for picking up the image of the sample, and a means for identifying the leukocyte constituent being subclassified by processing the image that has been picked up.
