PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center position detecting apparatus, capable of detecting the center position of a component under test using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This center position detecting apparatus comprises an arcuate part formed into a circular arc concentric to the center axis of the component 9 under test, the arcuate part being movable together with the component 9, abutting arms 12a, 12b, 12c each at one end fixed turnably to the center axis of the component 9 and at the other end pressed in a direction approximately normal to abut against the arcuate part in a plane perpendicular to the center axis of the component 9, a means 15 for detecting the inclination of the abutting arms 12a, 12b, 12c, and center position determining means for obtaining the center position of the component 9, based on the detection result of each inclination detecting means 15. |
