PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case which is somewhat larger and heavier, having an electrode at one end for simplifying the removal of a battery. SOLUTION: A battery box comprises a case 10 having an opening at one end, in which the chamber for storing a battery 100 in a prescribed posture and an electrode to be connected to the battery are provided, a cover 20 to be pushed into the opening for sealing the opening, and a magnet 26 provided on the reverse of the cover for magnetically attracting the battery, when the cover is pushed into the case.
