7-Amino-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-cyclopentaÄaÜnaphthalen-1-one derivatives of formula (I) and their racemates, optical isomers and acid addition salts are new. n = 0 or 1; Y = H, CH2W or a group of formula (a) or (b); W = H or 1-5C alkyl, 2-5C alkenyl or 2-5C alkynyl; p = 1-5; R1, R2 = H, halo, OH, 1-5C alkoxy, NHSO2Me, NHSO2CF3, NHCOMe, NHCOCF3 or CONR4R5; R4, R5 = H or 1-6C alkyl; m = 2-5; and R3 = H, halo, OH, 1-6C alkoxy, CF3, CN or phenyl.
