A compound of formula I, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a prodrug thereof wherein, R1 to R10 are each independently selected from straight or branched alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted benzyl or phenyl which substituents are selected from halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, carboxy, carboalkoxy, trifluoromethyl, and nitro, and any R1 to R10, which is not one of the above, is hydrogen, provided that R1 to R10 are not all hydrogen. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the aforementioned compounds are also described as is the use of these compounds in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of a variety of disorders including: epilepsy, faintness attacks, hypokinesia, cranial disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, depression, anxiety, panic, pain and neuropathological disorders.
