PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature changes and distributions within an optical transmitter-receiver. SOLUTION: This optical transmitter-receiver module has an upper lid 5 and a lower box 6. The lower box 6 is equipped therein with a semiconductor laser as a light source, an optical modulator, an optical fiber amplifier and a photoelectron element mounting board 2, on which photoelectron elements such as electronic circuits controlling these elements are mounted. A pipe 1, in which a thermal fluid 4 for absorbing heat generated from the elements within the module and carrying the heat outside is circulated, is formed inside the upper lid 5 and the lower box 6. The pipe 1 is spread over inside the upper lid 5 and the lower box 6 in a shape with which internal heat can be collected efficiently. The upper lid 5 and the lower box 6 are provided with thermal fluid gateways 7, 8, respectively. The thermal fluid gateways 7, 8 are connected to a temperature maintenance mechanism outside the module by pipes so that the thermal fluid is circulated. |
