PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which can make cooking work easier by locating an object to be cooked to a prescribed position even when a mobile placing base is moved. SOLUTION: On the main body case 2 of the cooker having a cooking chamber 3 demarcated in the case 2 and a box-like reflecting body 5 which opens an opening 4 on its front face, the lower end section of a lid body 7 is rotatably journaled so that the lid body 7 may open and close the opening 4. A plurality of heaters 31 and a cooking base 11 on which an object to be cooked is placed and which has a regulating section 12 and a locating and locking means 13 which is formed in such a way that the means 13 is bent downward from the opening 4 on the interior side of the base 11 are set up in the chamber 3. In addition, a pair of mobile shafts 23 and 23 which are crosslinked to each other through an operating plate 24 is journaled on the cooking base 11 and a mobile placing base 22 which constitutes a linking mechanism and can be rotated upward in the rear of the opening 4 is provided on the base 11. Moreover, an operating means 37 which rotates the placing base 22 is provided in a control room 36. When the placing base 22 is rotated upward, consequently, the locating and locking means 13 is engaged with the inner margin of the cooking opening 10a of a cooking vessel 10 and the vessel 10 is located to the first placed position.
