A portable loan analyzer is described. Generally, information related to a potential borrower and loan are entered into the analyzer. The analyzer transports the entered data into a deal analysis report, which a sales representative can review. The analyzer also assigns a point value to the potential loan. The assigned point value can then be compared with predetermined point value ranges to determine whether the potential loan is viable.
