PROCESS FOR TREATING WASTE OIL

A burnable used oil fuel product is produced by a process comprising: obtaining a used oil sample having at least 1 % (by weight) aqueous substances; heating the used oil sample to a temperature of from about 20 DEG C to about 60 DEG C in a heating section (18); and extracting the heated oil by adding super critical CO2 to a demulsification section (22), whereby a volume of water is removed from the heated used oil sample.
