A tool for forming a gas-tight connection between a plastic film or film laminate inner bag of an aerosol tin and a plastic valve holder, consists of two sealing cheeks which have a raised surface interrupted by a semi-cylindrical cut out. The latter is used to accommodate a cylindrical outer pipe of the valve holder. The inner dia. of the hollow area formed by the cheek (20,22) cut outs (26) is smaller than the outer dia. of the outer pipe (14) of the valve holder. The cut outs are angled.
