Apparatus for separating water from a pressurised gas line (10) which includes a water collecting vessel (14) in communication with the gas line (10), an inlet (10) to the vessel (14) through which water and entrained solids from the gas line (10) can pass, into the vessel (14), an arrangement inside the vessel for separating water from the said entrained solids, a solids outlet (22) through which the entrained solids are drained from the vessel, a water outlet (34) from the vessel (14), and a mechanism (18) for adjusting the rate at which water can flow through the vessel outlet (34). |
