PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the implantation of a dowel pin. SOLUTION: The dowel pin 300 comprises a long-legged and sectionally rectangular pin body 301, a columnar neck 302 protruded from the upper end of pin body 301, and a plastic film 303 attached to the outer periphery of the neck 302. The pin body 301 and the neck 302 are integrally formed of stainless steel. The plastic film 303 attached to the outer periphery of the neck portion 302 is used for inserting the neck 302 in a dowel pin implantation hole of gypsum toothed pattern whereupon great friction force works for firm fixation. The attachment of the plastic film 303 to the neck 302 is carried out simply by wrapping the plastic film 303 with an adhesive layer on the reverse on the outer periphery of the neck 302 once or few times.
